Description
We are excited to introduce the Marsh Nutra-Lite, an advanced sewage treatment plant that uses cutting-edge Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology to improve wastewater quality and reduce harmful nitrates for off-mains systems.
Designed for sites serving up to 50 people, the Nutra-Lite offers state-of-the-art technology that’s been rigorously tested to set a new standard in sustainable domestic sewage treatment.
The Marsh Nutra-Lite treats effluent to the following standards:
BOD: 4mg/ltr
Suspended Solids: 11mg/ltr
Ammonia: 0.5mg/ltr
When the Marsh Nutra-Lite and Marsh Phos-Lite are combined, the effluent quality is further improved to:
BOD: 1.62mg/ltr
Suspended Solids: 4.3mg/ltr
Ammonia: 0.38mg/ltr
PTot: 0.26mg/ltr
TNb: 10.5mg/ltr
Features of the Nutra-Lite
The Nutra-Lite uses SBR technology, achieving an impressive 84% biological reduction in nitrates. Unlike traditional methods, it relies entirely on natural biological processes—no chemicals or carbon are needed, making it an eco-friendly choice.
Flexible and Adaptable for Year-Round Performance – One of the unique features of the Nutra-Lite is its ability to adjust to seasonal changes in biological treatment, ensuring optimal performance throughout the year. Remote configuration capabilities allow for ongoing adjustments, keeping the system in tune with the latest research on nitrate reduction.
Easy Monitoring with Secure Telemetry – The Nutra-Lite comes equipped with bi-directional communication, making maintenance and monitoring easy. Whether through mobile connectivity or homeowner Wi-Fi/internet, you can keep track of system performance remotely, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Efficiency and Cost Savings – The Nutra-Lite keeps operating costs low with a single compressor that minimizes energy use without compromising performance. Plus, an economy mode reduces running costs even further during process changeovers, making it an efficient solution for long-term savings.
Built to Last – Constructed with GRP material, the Nutra-Lite meets the high standards of EN ISO 11925-2:2010 for fire safety, withstanding direct flame exposure. All units come with a 25-year structural guarantee, ensuring peace of mind for years to come.
Certified for Performance – The Nutra-Lite has been rigorously tested at the renowned PIA GmbH test center in Aachen, Germany. After 50 weeks of continuous testing, it is certified to BS EN 12566-3 Annex B for systems up to 50 Population Equivalent and complies with UK regulations, making it a highly reliable and effective solution for treating wastewater.
Optional Phosphate Removal – The Marsh Nutra-Lite can be paired with the Marsh Phos-Lite system for even more advanced treatment, specifically targeting phosphate removal. Together, these systems offer a comprehensive solution for managing wastewater.
